San Francisco tech investor, Orlando Bravo, pledges to give $10 million to aid the island of PR that was pummeled by hurricane Maria. Bravo is one of the founders of Thoma Bravo, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm. Bravo’s bio on his organization’s website states he was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and that “He received an MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a law degree from Stanford Law School and BA degrees in Economics and Political Science from Brown University.” Via the Bravo Family Foundation, Puerto Rico has received IV’s, food, satellite phones, water, diapers, baby food formula and many other supplies. Should we say “Bravo!” for Bravo?
